Neon Switchback

Neon Switchback is pure arcade joy. You tilt or tap to steer glowing cars down twisting mountain roads, and the whole game is built around nailing long, screaming drifts around hairpins. The sense of speed is excellent, and the soundtrack pushes you forward.

The clever bit is the boost system tied to drifting: hold a clean slide and you bank energy to blast down straights. It turns every corner into a small risk-reward decision. We kept replaying tracks just to shave off half a second.

It's short per race but endlessly repeatable, which is exactly what you want from a mobile racer. The handling takes a few runs to learn, then it feels fantastic.
